I remember my first MCFC match for both being an exciting time and a little sad, I came home from school and got changed and then it was off to grandmas for a chippy tea with grandma and grandad. After tea we left my older sister safely with grandma and promptly kidnapped grandad and whisked him away to the match, it will be great to share memories of my first match with grandad when i am older. Although a little sad that my dad had to work and could not make it, I wasnt sure what to expect when i got to the stadium but it was huge i couldnt believe how many people where there. The atmosphere was fantastic even though we where sat on the front row getting soaked but it was worth it with a 2-1 result. Half time was interesting too as i had never seen or tasted a hotdog that was so big before and it is now my ritual to have a hotdog at every match i attend. My friends have laughed at me for being a MCFC supporter but the love i have for MCFC will never fail, I have been laughed at for wearing the kit and going to matches but it is me who is having the last laugh because in the last 12 months i have converted 12 of my friends, including some who have laughed at me and probably to their dad’s dismay. hi my name is zeb i am 5 years old i love city and dad got me a season ticket this year i was disappointed to miss the wolves game but watched on tv from my holidays !!my first game was arsenal at home wow it could not have been better !!i could not believe how many happy city fans there were and the noise was so loud when the players came out and even louder when we scored 4 goals against arsenal,it was the best i cant wait to beat man united in the next round of the carling cupi will be there zeb true blue ,,,blue moon

My first man city game was one of the most historic games in city’s history not only did it deliver a great game but 100 goals for the ‘GOAT’ and a cracker from anelka when goater chipped the ball over the bald frenchman a mixture of emotions bursting through my one which is impossible to replace thats why win lose or draw i’m hooked to MAN CITY and that great thrill will never disappear. jake loftus age 14

We got my son James for his 12th Birthday a ticket to see his first City match against Blackburn, My husband & brother travelled up to Eastlands and they were in the Commonwealth suite, as we pulled up to the ground he was in awe as he only saw the ground on tv & google. The three of them went in the shop and bought some bits and a collar for our dog! they had something to eat and went to their seats it was a glorius sunny day and the teams came out to warm up, James has a city scarf that is half Brazillian and waved it vigorously at Robinho who cooly waives back,At half time James name went across the score board. the match was spectacular loads of action & crucially City WON, As they left the car park James fell asleep – What a day to remember

I am 42 and have been a life long fan supporting City. My first time watching City was this year as a birthday present from my wife, my birthday is on Sept 11. The game was Sat 12 Sep 15:00 Home Arsenal Barclays Premier League Won 4 2. It was an important game for the 2 former Arsenal boys and all the hipe was arround Emmanuel Adebayor. There was every thing in the game, Arsenal was on top for the first 10 min, then the game erupted, goals,pefect football, concrovercy and “that run”. I comented to my wife “look, look” what Adebayor is doing he is letting go all of his emotion.

the recent fa cup 4th round draw reminded me of my son`s
1st game , which i thought id share .. back in 2006 I had been fortunate to previously enjoy hospitality at both Maine road and Eastlands, but my son JACK (7 at the time ) had never been to a game (any game ) , when scunthorpe where drawn away to city , as a city fan i decided that would be the game his first game ,scuinthorpe are 10 mins up the road to us. knowing what a great crowd and warm welcome and hospitality we would enjoy off we set from Epworth just outside of scunthorpe, on a very cold icy january morning On arriving at eastland`s i showed my naivity and asked for family enclosure seats! urh urh! the young lad in the ticket booth pointing to the home fan only poster and remarking on my yorkshire twang , suggested we sat in the colin bell stand , all calm at this point that is untill kick off time when the stadium filled up and with a roar we`re off, all untill Scunthorpe (andy keog) scored ! well Jack jumped out of his seat and cheered, the atmosphere changed and was decidibly icy , almost apologetic i explained it was his first game every mindfull of my yorkshire twang.. at this point i would like to thank mr Robbie Fowler, as he then went on to score a fantastic hatrick and I can assure you I`ve never celebrated any goal(s) so enthusiastically !!
i can honestly say despite the looks and the comments it was a fantastic match , city winning 3-1 , thankfully Jack changed his alledgencies (your allowed to at 7) and we re both now CITD !! thanks Robbie !

I walked through the concord hearing the atmosphere on the pitch and all around me when city scored it was like a very big explosion with excitment every one jumped out of there seats it was so intense but in a good way so i jumped up my self and cheered city on to win against fullham it was a night to remember.

My fist match was at Eastlands when we played Blackburn in 2007. I have been a City supporter since I was a kid ( I am 55 now ) I remember going to Albert square when they brought the European cup winners cup back.
I now take my 2 young nephews with me when I can.

I had followed football for years due to my family being huge football fans but never actually found my own team, part of it as my way of rebelling really lol my mum a lifelong liverpool supporter and my dad even worse a red ; ) hehe there was always pressure to go one way or the other so i went neither and remained a neutral. Then i met my partner a life long dedicated blue and began watching city on the tv and that is where my love affair for the blue moon began : ) i have been to several home and away matches now the first being fulham at home in the carling cup. My partner always says he wishes he had took me to a ‘better’ match with a ‘better’ atmosphere for my first game but I loved it regardless and each time it only gets better and my love and passion for the club only grows more!!! My next game is the semi final tie home leg against utd and I cant wait see our boys do them reds and show them what we are capable of!!!

My first game wa Manchester City Vs Barnsley in a Friendly. I’m Not sure what date it was or who the scores were as I was only 8, but we hammered them 7-1. It was Brillant. I whent with my cousin, Jay and my 2 uncles, Paul and Bob. Paul is a non City fan with his son, Jay also a non City fan. They have both been trying to get me to become a united fan with them! This game realy was the turning point for my decision. I became a true blue. The only reason my cousin came was for the delicious hot dogs. My other uncle Bob was a true blue as well and had allways been one, he was also the proud owner of a season card. In the game I sat in the 3rd tier right near the front, the match realy was spectacular. Their were enougth events to keep me entertained. The best thing I remembered is at half time their was enougth space to mess abouth at the top of the stadium, we also sat right at the top for the second half. It was surely brilliant I loved it and surely their were better games to come. : )
