My first city game was on the 2nd of February 2008 in the 07-08 season and it was against Arsenal at Eastlands. I was very excited and was very optimistic that we would win that day. I had to get up at 6:30 in the morning to get the train down from Edinburgh Waverly and it was tiring. The game was a half twelve kick off and as soon as we arrived in Manchester we had to hop in a taxi to take us to the ground. The place was mobbed with fans and there was a tense atmosphere building up to the game. We were sitting in the 3rd tier of the east stand. About 15 minutes into the match the 1st big incident happened. Arsenal scored! Emmanuel Adebayor had put the ball in the back of the net. 5-10 minutes later and Eduardo scored with a beautiful overhead kick. Almost immediately Gelson Fernandes pulled one back for City but in injury time Emmanuel Adebayor scored his 2nd to wrap up the points. A bad result but none the less a great day out

My first city game was at home to Arsenal. It was the best day of my life. Firstly we were filmed by the bbc, as it was our first city game, and they wanted to see our reaction to the stadium. Then with out us knowing the City press officer took us down to the tunnel where we met Robinho, Micah Richards and Elano. The experience was amazing because what ever way you looked you would see famous footballers, to my left there was Robinho and to my right there was Nasri only a few meters away from me. I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was a dream come true. Then the brillant day was capped off when City won 3-0 and when Robinho scored he was dancing right in front of us.- it was simply unbeivable I couldn’t believe my luck.
I would like to say Thank you to everyone on behalf of man city for making this day happen. Robbie Guy aged 14
