I had the most amazing day on Boxing Day 2008 – my best friend and her great family (all life long Man City fans from Worcester) took me to watch my first City game. Turkey sandwiches, Maltesers and a brilliant home win – I guess it does not get any better than that! Thanks Becky and thanks City!

My first city game was on 22nd November 2008. It was a gift for my 15th birthday. Me and my dad were not expecting a win. The goal from Ireland before half time was a dream. Then Robinho and Sturridge finished it off greatly. Me and my dad know go regulary after the terrific win that day.

The first day i went to watch manchester city was brilliant. It waz great to see the city players for real. The city fans were cheering like mad. The stadium waz very big as i waz only little. As Micah Richards was my idol at the time i waz so happy to see him in real life. Overall it was a great time and i have been to lots more games. Now Robinho is at the team it makes me want to go and see the team play more. My idol is now Robinho.

My first game came quite recent acctually on 26th december 2008, boxing day tradtion. up until about 5 months ago i was on the red side of the manchester teams, but i “saw the light” so to speak. I started taking interest in the mighty blues because i fancied a change, i was only a red because my parents brought me up that way.
But the game kicked off at 3:00pm,and the chanting began, within half and hour we were 3-0 up it was a very good game with us ending up winning 5-1, wha a game, robhinio scored 2 casiedo scored 2 and man of the match stephen irleand the other. Loved the experience and am now in the blue army.

After making such a fool of myself to Micah one day, because of not knowing who he was, (i was never a football fan!) he was so nice about it, and just laughed at me! I thought well I have to watch this guy play!
I decided to watch the next match and got addicted to watching on TV and fast became a City Fan!
My first match came as a nice surprise courtesy of seat exchange, and on finding out I dont think I have ever danced about with excitement as much!
It was such an exciting game 3-2… and i dont think I was sat down too long before I was on my feet again.
I’m going to see city again in the very near future and i CANT WAIT
See you soon!

Because my dad was in the British Forces, we couldn’t go to see a game because we had been living in places like Cyprus and Germany. Once the the match got started, I took 20 minutes until I was fluent in all the City chants and songs. After one goal, the chanting got louder. After three I could hear nothing else. The atmosphere was amazing.

Coming from belgium to see the ” abu derby”,this was our first match at manchester city stadium. We ( my brother in law , my daughter & I) were here to see our country-man ( VINCENT KOMPANY) playing against Mr C. RONALDO. The match was sold out ( 48.000 Supporters ). We planified this trip in september, booked our airplanes tickets, hotels and finally the tickets fore the game ( hard to get them from belgium for a first time in CITY). In the airplane, there were at least 15 supporters of V. KOMPANY travelling to see him playing. We landed in Manchester airport at 07.30 AM on a very cold but sunny sunday! After delivering our luggages at the Crowne plaza airport hotel we moved by train to the city center. Manchester was still sleeping at 09.30 AM on this sunday. After collecting our tickets for the gamewe had a visit to the CITY STORE for some shopping. Our first impression when we entered the stadium :Waow!!! We don’t have the same in belgium ( Smaller and not so modern than in city ). A good match, a bad final result 0-1 for UNITED. A great match of our country-man. A red card for C RONALDO. Many supporters left the stadium unhappy…We had a great day and were just happy to have been there on this 30 Nov 2008. After the game we moved to city center again. Manchester was already busy with the christmas market. After a tour , some beers & a meal at the HARD ROCK CAFE MANCHESTER we took the train back to our hotel.WE flew back to belgium on the monday morning…Plenty of images in our mind in in our camera. Sure , we’ll come back!!!

I had followed City since I was young but had never been to see a game because my Dad was in the British Forces and we lived abroad for most of my life. We sat in section 102 in seat 26 of row W.When the first goal went in the cheering was so loud that I couldn’t hear anything else. The atmosphere was amazing.
