My first match was as a 20 year old on 20-1-08, City v West Ham. After flying out from Australia to visit England, and Manchester more specifically, I had the pleasure of watching my heroes from the bouncing atmosphere of bay 117.
Unfortunately, my first City game was not one that lived long in the memory, but like the club itself, the experience was intoxicating. As a result, in two weeks I will attend both my first European match and Derby Day, so I absolutely cannot wait.

My first game was the youth cup final against Chelsea earlier this year. My Nanny took me and i had a great time – i got to meet Moonchester and Moonbeam and even had a game of football at half time with an empty can. I was so excited when Nanny told me we were going to see CITY and loved all the clapping, cheering and singing and best of all we won!! My favourite song is no longer by the Sugababes – but is Bluemoon which me and my dad sing when we watch the football at home or at COMs…….

My first city game was against Portsmouth where we beat them 6-0. I got there by bus to eastlands and i can’t believe we beat them that score.

My first “real” match was the pre-season friendly against A.C. Milan. I had been before but been in the posh directors box but this was my first “real” match sat on the terraces cheering my team on and it felt fantastic! Ive always been a City fan but had unfortunately hung around with mainly Man Utd fans so never got the chance to cheer on my team until that game. Since then ive been to 5 home games & loved every one, even the loss to Chelsea! Ive just got my derby ticket for 30/11 and am also booking tickets for the PSG game 3/12 & the Everton home-game. Thanks for the experience, i will never forget how i felt after we scored and how i felt on my way home knowing my team was up there with the rest of the world, even before signing Robinho & Shaun Wright-Phillips. Thanks for the memories!

My first City match was at home against Portsmouth. We won 3-1… Benjani didn’t celebrate when he scored but me and my Dad went nuts along with all the other City fans! We go as often as we can now!

It was an incredible experience, one of the special days in my life. To witness that performance in my first game was incredible. If you had asked what my wildest dream would be, my best-case scenario for that game, there’s no way it would have never have been 6-0! It was fantastic, I will never forget that day but I see more days like that coming ahead. City fans are special, I have been to many Premier League games before but there is no question that there is something very special about our fans here at City. That hit me the moment I walked into the stadium that day, it is something I hold very dearly.

My first city game was in 2008 august. It was the match against AC Milan and i wasnt really a massive fan of manchester city but my boyfriend had bought me a season ticket so I thought I might aswell go and watch the matches. Well when we got to the stadium and had a nice cheeseburger we went and sat in our seats. I just felt a rush of ’this feels like home’ well when the match started and I was overwhelmed by the atmosphere and thought this is the team where you feel like your on a rollcoaster and you feel part of the team and like a family all cheering the best team in the world (manchester city). I were reay happy when we beat them 1-0. From this day on I havent missed a manchester city match. Its the highlight of the week.

I was so excited when my dad told me we had tickets for the match. When we got to the game I could not believe how many people there were. They were all wearing city shirts hats and scarfs I lived it in the stands everyone was singing songs I did not know the words except “we’ve got Robinho, we’ve got Robinsho”. I was singing it all the way home. I loved my first match it was great.
