My first city match was against villa, I went with my dad and my sister. I didn’t really know what to expect but my sister and my dad told me I would love it. When i first saw the stadium I thought that it was amazing and I couldn’t wait to get inside. The match was great and i got to see my first goal which was scored by Johnson just after half time. The best thing about my first match was definitely the fans they really made the stadium have an electric atmosphere. Ever since that day i have been addicted to city and i don’t know what I’d do now if i missed a match!

My first city match was on my 8th birthday. I am now 10. I had supported city all my life, but i never got a chance to see a match. Because we moved to London. But this is about the game so no more of my life story.

Their were loads of fans turning up to see city play Birmingham. It was so crowded it was a nightmare to find a parking place.

I was dumb struck by finnaly seeing the stadium in real life it was a lot bigger then i had expected.

As the game started my dad started singing ( very embarrasing!)And the whole of the crowd was singing too it gave me a sensational feeling in my heart. Because i grew up in London everyone was supporting Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool etc etc…
so i always felt my family and I were the only supporters in the world! So it felt good, i attempted to sing but i could’nt.

The match was slow and not exciting but I did’nt care i was part of the wonderful atmosphere.

Finnaly we scored a goal, contreversal but still a goal.

The game was finishing when the crowd started singing”SVEN GORRAN ERICKSON, SVEN GORRAN ERRICKSON.” By this time at least i could sig so i sang.

My first City game was Blackburn away September 2007. I remember walking from the car park with my dad and his friends, we could hear all the City fans singing before we got near the ground. We passed a pub and the car park had a big tent on it full of City fans all singing. We got in the ground and stood behind the net, the noise from the City fans was very noisy and fantastic all the way through the game. Unfortunately we lost the game 1-0 but that didn’t matter I am now hooked for life. I am now a season ticket holder in South Stand with my dad and we have been to every home match since and a few away games as well. I now cant wait for every match day and love every minute of it.

We won the match 2-1 through a Samaras brace. be booked our trip longer and stayed for Wednesday away in the cup. Because of the enthusiasm of the city fans through the cold and, at times, miserable play my mate that came with me is also a new life long blue too…

I remember George celebrating each goal by standing on his chair and joining in the choruses of “Blue Moon2 and the chants of “easy, easy!!!” as we scored 2 eraly goals and then he even hed the gall to enquire the score of ex-Blue Sylvain Distin. I was in hysterics and swelling with pride at my true blue son!!!
