I went to my first City game with my Grandad Chris. It was against West Ham. Samaras was the goal scorer, he scored both which was a very rare thing. I am still like going to the CofMS but city seem to be losing more than winning these days. Hope this changes in the years to come. City till I die.

My first city game was 26th august 2006 versing arsenal were we won 1-0, I was 13 years old,I came with my uncle dale who has had a city season ticket at main road too.Iwas so excited about this game, i had been waiting for it for weeks,i had only ever whatched city play on the t.v, and never realy new what the atmosphere was like, i still remember getting into my uncles car on that day and my uncle asking was i excited, i was so over excited i couldnt belive it, i was acctually going to see my heroes live for the first time, i was all ready with my home top and city tracksuit on, before the match we went into the main road pub opposite and every were was fans, i just couldnt wait to go in, we was walking towards the entrance and all i could hear was the chants from the fans,it didnt feel real it was so amazing. As soon as i sat in my seat it was time to welcome the players, all i remember was shoting and cheering richard dunne. The thing i remember most about the game was seeing richard dunne live, he was my real hero!I couldnt belive that city had won on my first ever live game, my uncle said it was because i came and i was city’s good luck charm. i am now a season ticket holder and never miss a game, i love the blues so much YOU ARE MY HEROES!! thankyou city for my fantastic day and everyday since then

My first manchester city match was city v birmingham in 2006 at the city of manchester stadium and they won thankfully, it was a very memorable match for me as it was my first ever football match and i was only 10 years old and because i went with my grandad who is a ex city player from 1969 and he is called Bobby Owen, to me the best part of the day was feeling so gratefull that i was able to walk up joe mercer way with my grandad and i wished i could thank him for making my grandads life so action packed at the time.

in march 2006 when I was 9 I saw my first city game city v Wigan. For my dads 40th birthday present my mum had bought him 2 tickets with hospitallity. She was ment to go but she couldn’t because my sister had a tennis tournament so my dad took me.
We went in the car and we got there 2 and a half hours early so it wasn’t busy. We went in the shop and I got my very first city scarf and then we went to the restraunt thing which was above the shop and had our meal. It delicious I would recommend it. Then we looked around the museum and I really getting excited.
Finally we went into the stadium. The atmosphere was mind blowing. We were in the posh sears on level 2 above the tunnel but we didn’t see any1 famous. We lost the game 1-0 but to be honest it didn’t matter.

I have been a City supporter since I was a kid, wagging school to watch them bring the European cup winners cup home. I never got to watch City until 2006 when we played Blackburn, we lost 3-0 but I didnt care. The atmosphere in the ground was electric, made the hair on the back of my neck tingle. I have been to more matches since that first one (live near the stadium now) and I still get the tingles going to the ground. The kid who had a life size poster of Francis Lee at the head of her bed finally got her dream come true.

My first City game was V Charlton on the 12th February 2006.
I was 7-years of age.
This game has extra special memories for me because I was chosen to take a pre match penalty against Moonchester…
Although we live in Kent my dad and I are both City fans. For this game we managed to get tickets through Charlton but decided to make our way up to ensure we got there early to have a good look around the ground. Once we had finished looking around we decided to find our seats. Whilst sitting there a lady from City came over and asked me I would like to take a pre match penalty. This was a brilliant experience. Another reason for it being so cool and a special memory is that I had to take the penalty in a plastic cape as the weather was terrible… I still scored against Moonchester though. Along with City winning 3 -2, this made the 5-hour journey home bearable!!
Unfortunately as we had not expected this extra special thing my dad didn’t have his camera

After being brainwashed since I was born by my dad, it took over 15 years before I saw City live for the first time. Mind you living in Australia does make it hard to get to games! Anyway after travelling 20,000km we arrived in Manchester on the morning of the big game. I didn’t know what to expect but everything lived up to my expectations. The ground, the crowd, the shop, the noise, the rival fans, the speed of the game, the result (of course) and Mr Fowler’s celebration in front of the reds. Absolutely brilliant. This will stay with me for the rest of my life. But with every up following City there’s a down, because a few hours after the match I was rushed to hospital to get my appendix out. Dad just shrugged his shoulders and said, “City’ll do that to you”.

Hannah (aged 7 at the time) and Callum (aged 5 at the time). Our first trip to watch City was a very cold one despite about ten layers of clothing. Chips and tomato soup at half time was a comfort and City won 3-1 with a Robbie Fowler hat-trick.
