This game was just before my 4th birthday It was also my Great Nan’s birthday on the same day(21/4/03).I went to the game with my Dad.He said it would be the first and only time I would get to go to Maine Road as we moving into the City of Manchester stadium the following season. We sat in the Main Stand.I don’t remember much about the match but as we won 3-0 I must have enjoyed it! I have been hooked ever since.

Nov 6th 2003 I remember that night like it was yesterday, it was freezing walking up to the stadium with the rest of the supporter’s, you could here the chant of blue moon echoing around the stadium from outside, i couldn’t wait to get in, as i approached the turnstiles i remember getting butterflies in my stomach because the atmosphere was so loud and i was so exicited. I remember walking down the steps in to the best stadium on earth it was about 5 mins before kick off and the atmosphere was overwhelming. i could see all my heroes coming out onto the pitch like an army getting ready to do battle it was amazing. within the first minute’s fowler put reyna through on goal but his effort went sailing over the bar from about 6 yards out we were bombarding them attack after attack but my first live city goal didn’t take long in coming when anelka latched on to a through ball and chipped the on rushing keeper as he raced out of his goal. The stadium erupted i thought the roof was about to come off. I won’t forget that moment anelka milked the praise of the home fans and i was loving it. we had several chances after that but a whole host of them went begging atfer the first goal we missed chance after chance and you could just feel the polish side was going to make us pay because thay stared to come more and more into the the game as there confidence grew. and on about the 70th minute our worst fear came true they got a freekick on the edge of the box and there best player on the curled it into the top corner and there was nothing seaman could do 1 – 1 you could feel the dissapointment amongst the fans. chances were through and far between after that as it looked like both sides had settled for a draw. but what i liked the most, the crowd were still singing at the top of there voices trying to rally the team. the game came to an end and even though we drew i knew man city were the team for me. CITY TILL I DIE.

My first game was City at home to Fulham on January 29th 2003! We beat them 4-1!
I was 10. Me and my Dad were sat in the Kippax. I just remember looking around in amazement at the crowd and listening to the noise it made! I was in awe!
From that day on, i knew there would be no other club for, than Manchester City.

Wow, i had never experienced anything like this. My first game was our last at Maine Road, tears were flowing from all fans. What a memorable day, pity about the result.

Sunday October 19th 2003 will be a memory I’ll never forget. The story is quite funny to this because my uncle thought he was what caused the blues losing a lot of the games at COMS, so he and two friends decided to watch them in the pub instead. Me and my dad and my brother took advantage of the tickets and went to the game. It turned out that we won by a big margin. We won 6-2, so maybe my uncle does put a curse on City

City 2 – Barcelona 1. What a game. There has been osme good games in my time as a city supporter, but this one was out of this world. i was 12, and this was the first game at Eastlands. I was born a true blue anyway, and had always loved city as long as i could remember. I’d been to a couple of games at Maine road (including the last game against Birmingham city) before, but compared to COMS… My best moment as a city fan. Love you city xxx

My very first Manchester City Match i ever went to was against Sunderland on the 21st august 2003 at maine road. We won that game 3-0 in which one of city best players scored the last ever goal at maine road.
Loved that game
MARC-VIVIEN FOE was the player to score the last goal at maine road.
Later that year he tragically died playing for his beloved national team Cameroon.
Rest In Peace

I don’t remember going to this game as it was a couple of months before my 3rd birthday but I have been to City games loads of times since and I love it, especially the pies! I remember I cried at the noise when Trevor Sinclair scored the first goal at my first Derby game in Jan ‘06 but by the end I was cheering like mad when we won 3 – 1!
