It was a warm suumers afternoon and it was the first game ever at the city of manchester stadium. The team walked out to a big buzz around the stadium. City were playing the mighty Barcelona. It was the greatest day of my life it was brilliant. I even got my picture took with moonchester and moonbeam for the first time.

My first game was against Crewe Alexander in the league cup on 1st October 2002. I was 5 years old and we won 3-2 thanks to Berkovic, an own goal by walker and, my favourite player at that time, Darren Huckerby. This was my one and only game at Maine Road and the game that put the blues in my heart forever. I am glad that when i grow up i can tell my children that i saw the mighty blues win at Maine Road.

My first game was for my 6th Birthday on 10th February 2002. It was in the season that we won Division 1. We won the game vs Preston 3-2 with Steve Howey, Paulo Wanchope and Shaun Wright-Phillips. I cant remember much because it was 6 years ago but i know that we won

In March of 2002 my friend and I took a vacation to England with the primary goal of seeing Maine Road before it was gone. When I walked into the Main Stand and saw the pitch, I felt like I was home. We saw City defeat Coventry City 4-2 on their way to dominating First Division, and have never looked back.

My first city game, was against Notts Forest in 2002. I remember it because of Darren Huckerby’s hat trick. It was great, as it was an 8th birthday present, it couldn’t have got any better. Me Dad originally tried to get me to be an Arsenal fan, but the 99′ Gillingham play-off final got me interested in city, and this game topped it off. Since, i’ve been to over 50 games, have had a season ticket, and had some of the best times of my life. It’s all thanks to me Uncle, and i’m now forever city, no matter how low or high they go. In 2002 i was asked to go to my first man city game with my friend and his mum and dad i was so excited i love man city and never had the chance to go before. We pkayed crewe in the worthignton cup and before we even entered the ground crewe were winning 1-0 they scored within the first 20 seconds, not how i wanted my first game to begin. at half time i was upset with being 1-0 down and i was freezin all i wanted was to see 1 goal. but in the second half we were a different team scoring 3 times in that half most memorable eyal berkovic strike from about 20yards out i was buzzin all the way home. i could not believe we won and the city fans were bringing the roof down the atmosphere was great. and from that day i have never forgotten. the only down side to this i went home asking my mum to get me a season ticket but i had to wait till 2007 to get my first ticket but it was worth the wait.

My first game as a City fan was the 3 nil win over Nots Forest on Saturday March 30, 2002. I’d been to watch City games before with my Dad but this game was the first where I was truely a blue. We managed to get tickets to the box an my Dad promised to buy me a shirt after the game. The atmosphere was amazing as it was almost a given that we were league champs and on our way back to where we belonged. A fantastic Huckerby hatrick saw us coast to a win and after thew game there was only one number I was getting on the back of my shirt…7

I have been a City fan all of my life, due to my dad being a season ticket holder. My first ever City game was at Maine road in 2002. I was about 11 years old and i remember that me and my sister were really excited and couldnt wait to get there. We went on a bus with a load of people, and we were singing the city songs all of the way there, all of us dressed in City shirts of course!! The match was City v Birmingham, and Maine road was packed. couldn’t have asked for a better first ever game really, as we won 6-0, 4 goals from Huckerby, one fron Goater and an own goal!!
