My very first game was against crewe and i remember going through the turnstile and walking up the stairs into the Jean Kelly Stand as we used to call it because when it started raining we used to stand up and sing with our temporary plastic raincoats on. I must have been about 5 or 6 at the time. City were 3-0 up at half time and in the end we won it 4-1 i think …! I loved the atmosphere and after the match we always used to go for a curry in Rusholme. From that day on i was CTID!

My first City game was at Maine Road in out brief spell in the Premier League under Joe Royle. We lost 3 – 1, I was in the uncovered corner next to the away fans, but was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was immense!

i remember this game clearly. it was the greatest day of my life. although we lost 5-2 i still loved every minute. my dad been a leeds fan jumped at the chance to see his team and took me with him.we sat in the kippax and it was funny watching him stop himself cheering after every leeds goal. i was hooked from that day on and have since then been proud to say IM CITY TILL I DIE

My first game was disappointing. It was when City were in, what is now, the Championship. All excited, my new city shirt on, then to walk out to see the pitch in front of what i had been told was a legendary ground and i felt that immediately. Although we lost, badly, i enjoyed it and that would be my only game that season. Next time, and our final season at Maine Road, i watched us lose 3-0 to Liverpool and then on the final day 1-0 to Southampton. Was i really bad luck for city? Now 6 years later almost i’m a seaosncard holder in the Colin Bell Stand (and have been since we moved to the CoMS) and enjoying victories all the time, the best ones have been any derby win 6-2 v Bolton and 6-0 v Pompey!
C’mon you Blues and i hope to see more victories in the near future. (in picture i’m on the left)
