City became re-established as one of the Premier League’s leading sides following promotion as Division One Champions in 2002, but for many fans the story of the early 2000s was the emotional move from Maine Road to Eastlands in 2003. The move caused many to think of their relationship with the stadium and the club and emotions ran high. The first competitive game at the new stadium was a UEFA Cup tie, and since that moment fans have witnessed the full range of emotions associated with this Club.

Since then he has become a fanatic city supporter going to as many home games as possible with his nanna & pops in the east stand, he love carlos tevez and he always tells people that mcfc is the best in the land and its his initials as well!!! come on city!!

December 9th 2000. I was far too young to remember anything about it – it was 4 days before my 2nd birthday! Anyway, apparently we won 5-0, and I must have liked it, because I’ve been going ever since! CTID

unfortunatley not a good day for the bluews as we were beaten 3-0.I attended with my wife trying to turn her blue.we enjoyed the experience as we were behind the dugout and got a royal good-humured 2 finger salute from pearce during the game arising from the banter between him and the fans.

As i walked through the stadium doors i herd people’s clattering footsteps. As the game went on and when city scored a goal i roared like a lion when he sees his pray. When i looked at my uncle and the people who supported city looked so happy that city won buy 2-1 but timisoara’s fans looked so upset.
I WOULD TOTALLY GO AGAIN !!!

My first city game was when i was 8 and my dad took me to Maine Road to see city play against Coventry in the fourth round of the FA Cup. I don’t really remember that much about the match apart from a 90 minute goal by Shaun Goater who at the time was my favourite my player. CTID

I’ve been a city fan all my life but due to my dad’s working hours could never get to a home match. I was sat at home one day listening to key 103 when I heard they were giving away tickets to City V Norwich. I called and won a pair and decided to take my dad. Excited isn’t the word for it I literally couldn’t sleep for days. Then match day arrived, we got to Eastlands early so we could have a look around and find our seats. I can honestly say that I was gobsmacked at the size of the place, the match flew by so quickly that I can’t even remember the score!!! What a night though, I’ve still got the ticket stub in my wallet, I can’t bare to part with it.
