My first city game was amazing, i was so excited knowing i was going to see my hero Uwe Rosler, i was with my brother n my grans best friend. i just remmber the atmophere being electric and i sat in the kippax. it was in 1996 against sheffield wens, and the cheekey bonus of coming away with 3 pionts and Rosler scoring the winning goal was the cherry on top it finished 1-0. who the (hell) are man utd!!!!

I was 13 at the time. Despite my dad being a blue, I had been to a couple of united games before this game and I am uncomfotable to say that I followed the red side of Manchester. Even more embarrassing was that this was because I had schoolgirl crush on a young Ryan Giggs. My younger sister Kay used to go to Maine Rd with my dad, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I’m sure it was an evening game in the FA cup. We sat in the North Stand. I think the result was a draw. Newcastle had recently signed Faustino Asprilla and I remember him battling with our very own Keith Curle. Loved the atmosphere at Maine Road from then onwards. I went to an Oasis gig at Maine Rd not long after as well. Never sat in the North Stand again. We usually sat in the Platt Lane End or sometimes in the infamous ‘Gene Kelly’ stand. I’ve got so many memories over the last decade or more- Wembley being a truly emotional day.

My very first memory of city was seeing them play birmingham with my dad in the old division 1, when i was only 4 years old.
Even though we lost the game 1-0, i can still remember the atmosphere in the middle of the Kippax, every last soul on their feet singing their hearts out for the blues! Such an electric atmosphere, such a rush, even now at eastlands!! I couldn’t get enough of them from that day onwards!!!!!!!

I can’t remember my first ever game (I was a toddler and it was probably away to Watford), but I do remember my first home game. It was a trip to Manchester as a birthday present for my Dad. It was against Birmingham, and the game itself wasn’t brilliant, I can’t even remember the score. What does stand out was the stadium and the atmosphere. The first sight of the Kippax towering over the surrounding houses. The sea of Blue once we got inside, and the incredible noise, will stay with me forever.

I think it was 1996/1997 season, away at roots hall on an evening kickoff, I was 5. I fell asleep during the second half, but still got to see Georgi score twice. Fell in love with city since then.
