September 10 1994 – Crystal Palace at home. I was 7 years old and I still remember getting out of the car by the “Toastrack” and walking into the ground. The roar from the North Stand where I was sat as the teams walked out.. I still remember it now. Paul Walsh scored right in front of us – and another young person’s blood turns blue. City til I die!

Mr First game was at maine road on a cold and wet wednesday evening back in 1994. Coventry were the visitors and played in a hideous purple kit. I sat in the maine stand and can still here all the cheers as we ran out 3-1 winners on the night. I’ve always been a blue as it was put into me from an early age from my dad.uncle and grandparents. With family and friends like mine no match with the blues is ever dull. City till i die, forever a blue.

My first ever game was City V Spurs at Maine Road on October 22nd 1994, I was 9 years old at the time. Me and my parents were sat in the middle of the Main stand in the best seats ever. We had travellled down from Carlisle and were staying in Manchester over night. When I walked up the stairs I was amazed at the view that was facing me, and the atmosphere that was around me. The game started and I got to witness 7 goals, including 2 for Spurs. I was so happy to see my hero playing and to make it even better he scored. The mighty Niall Quinn. I thought football was always going to be like this, if only! Because the next match I saw was a boring 0-0 with Leeds.

Whilst I’m sure I’d been to City games before, this was the first one I can really remember (with a fondness at least). It was October 1994 and I was 9. City vs Spurs at Maine Road when the Kippax was being rebuilt. I was sat in the corner of the North & Main Stand with my mate who had given me a ticket for the day. We had Andy Dibble in net, Curle, Brightwell, Edghill & Phelan at the back, Walsh & Quinn up front, Beagrie & Summerbee on the wings, Lomas & Flitcroft running the midfield. We killed them, it was an amazing match and was capped off by Lomas’ celebration in front of the North Stand, sliding on his backside!!! The day was made perfect by my city third kit catching the eye of a young female city fan a few rows in front. Quality atmosphere, great pie and wonderful views

My first game was a home game against Newcastle. My Dad took me to Maine Road for the very first time. I remember the walk to the ground going past all the little merchandise stores and seeing the ground for the very first time.
We won that day by 2 goals to 1. David Brightwell got the winner. A very good day & one i wont forget.

My first City match at Maine Road. I was 7, City V Liverpool april 1994. I went in full uniform….socks, shorts, shirt with name and number on! Sat in Platt Lane end, loved every minute, even with the man sat behind us covering my ears everytime he swore! WE won 2-1, Summerbee and gaudino
I was hooked as soon as I heard blue moon! once a blue always a blue. CITY TIL I DIE!

First game was the 5-2 against tottenham october 94! walshy bagged a couple and quickly became my hero, and i was stood in the north stand with my gary flitcroft shirt on! hooked from then on, though we had quite a few bad years with relegations, city stuck in my heart and watchin the blues in the lower leagues we always knew that we would be back. But who would have thought we would do it the way we did! this line typifies my life “CITY TIL I DIE”
