City v Oldham in Division 1, sitting in the Kippax. Will never forget Rosler running around the pitch like we had won the league when he scored.
From that moment, I knew my blood was blue!

My school friend’s Dad had tried to get us into The Swamp for his son’s birthday but they were full so we ended up in the Main Stand as City & Wolves fought out a muddy 0-0 draw. I dimly remember a goal-bound shot stopping dead in the mud on the goal line only for Wolves to clear before any blue shirt could slide it into the net. I was 10 at the time & already a Blue.

My first city game was 26th august 2006 versing arsenal were we won 1-0, I was 13 years old,I came with my uncle dale who has had a city season ticket at main road too.I was so excited about this game, i had been waiting for it for weeks,i had only ever whatched city play on the t.v, and never realy new what the atmosphere was like, i still remember getting into my uncles car on that day and my uncle asking was i excited, i was so over excited i couldnt belive it, i was acctually going to see my heroes live for the first time, i was all ready with my home top and city tracksuit on with my drink and sweets
, before the match we went into the main road pub opposite and every were was fans,we went in there for a drink because we got there early. i just couldnt wait to go in, we was walking towards the entrance and all i could hear was the chants from the fans, the stadium was so big i could hardly belive my eyes it was huge.it didnt feel real it was so amazing. As soon as i sat in my seat it was time to welcome the players, i had been to see moonchester and had my photo taken with him, then a massive cheer from the croud came as the players entered the pitch. i loved the way the song blue moon came on at the handshake because i love that song i wish they played it now before a match.all i remember was shouting and cheering richard dunne. haf time came and i think it was 0-0 so i was nervouse about the second half but i new i could count on city to win on my first match
The thing i remember most about the game was seeing richard dunne live, he was my real hero he played awsome on that day!I couldnt belive that city had won on my first ever live game, my uncle said it was because i came and i was city’s good luck charm. i am now a season ticket holder and never miss a game, i love the blues so much YOU ARE MY HEROES!! thankyou city for my fantastic day and everyday since then you have made my saterdays and sundays worth getting up for, i hope we get to istanbul and win uefa
C’MON YOU BLUE BOYS

My first game was the League Cup Semi Final in 1976. I was only 5 1/2 at the time, but Dad thought it was time for me to be blooded! I remember being in absolute awe of Peter Barnes. We smashed them 4-0 and I thought “this is definitely team for me, it must be like this all the time.” How wrong can you be!! Hopefully with the new owners in place we will have those exciting times back very soon. Whatever happens though, through thick or thin, we are all, and ALWAYS will be, City till we die.

My first match was when i was 9 yrs old and i went to Maine Road with my dad.
I remember i was sat on the wall at the open corner between the Kippax and the Platt Lane stand.
I remember the noise, the crowds and the smell of hot Bovril and hotdogs and onions.
The atmosphere was overwhelming with excitment and fear.
City won 5-1 that day with Neil Young scoring two, Colin Bell, Francis Lee and Mike Summerbee adding to the goals. Fulham played in an all dark strip.
Franny Lee wore the no 7 shirt and Mike Summerbee with the no 9 shirt, we all know now that this changed later on for the rest of the footballers careers to the other way round where Lee wore the no 9 shirt and Summerbee no 7 shirt!
Happy Days
