26/11/77 dank winters day was extinguished by the brightly lit green oasis that I witnessed after the exhausting never ending climb to the top of the Kippax steps.Dad, elder brother & I had to leave early to ensure we got the bus. End of the alleyway turning around the back of Platt Lane, I can still hear & feel the noise when Dave Watson headed in the winner in the top of the table 2-1 victory over Ipswich. Being young in the Kippax I couldn’t really see anything all game but that was irrelevant, the emotion of it all was all that mattered. If you’re reading this from up above Dad, thanks for a most wonderful day & for putting me on this specifically challenging path.

My First City game was a birthday present from my older brother (Nathan. Because my birthday is in July, we watched a pre-season friendly against Stoke City, i loved every minute of it, we battered them the wholeway through it + in the first half we were sat behind the goal Stoke were shooting in but they didn’t score
In the second half we were behind the goal Man City were shooting in (obviously) + we scored 2 goals, i remember one was scored by Darius Vassel but i can’t remember who scored the second, but that’s because i wasn’t very interested in football then so i didn’t know all the players, but now i LOVE to watch man city even when they lose because they put in soo much effort! My all time favourite players are Shaun Wright-Phillips + Micah Richards, now i do have more (like Robinho, Ireland + Joe Hart) but i’ve loved these players the most over the years of watching man city play!!

I liked Stephen Ireland’s set up for Robinho and Wright-Phillips. It was superb and when Ched Evans scored I was shocked because he hardly ever scores. I loved the way the Brazilian star Jo slotted the ball past David James I wish I could have done the same. It was tight for Wright-Phillips because he was on a tight angle but he just slammed it in!! I liked how my favourite player, Robinho, was involved in nearly everything City did. Wherever the ball went, Robinho went. I went to the match with my dad.

my first game was a 2-0 home win over Wolves, with Neil young scoringthe first with an unstoppable volley & mick Doyle adding the second. I was in the old scoreboard end (no roof!) as Nellie screamer hit the net at our end. Totally hooked from then on, especially as we won championship that year. Farthest I’ve travelled for a City game? From Tokyo for 3 days to watch the nerve- jangling play-off against Gilingham at the old Wembley. Worth every penny!

I’d won two tickets for the Main Stand in a school raffle and nearly lost out on going due to my older brother wanting to go. Rang City and got a free third ticket, dad took us both and we watched the sky blues beat wolves 4-0. It was all down to me wearing all 4 of my City badges on one side of my coat and none on the other side

My first City game was Blackburn away September 2007. I remember walking from the car park with my dad and his friends, we could hear all the City fans singing before we got near the ground. We passed a pub and the car park had a big tent on it full of City fans all singing. We got in the ground and stood behind the net, the noise from the City fans was very noisy and fantastic all the way through the game. Unfortunately we lost the game 1-0 but that didn’t matter I am now hooked for life. I am now a season ticket holder in South Stand with my dad and we have been to every home match since and a few away games as well. I now cant wait for every match day and love every minute of it.

First game was Kevin Moran’s testimonial at OT in 87. I was 8 yrs old and I went as a red (it was the done thing my mates said). City got beat 5-2 but they played well and i was shocked at the comments being made from supporters around me towards city and their fans. That day i decided to become a blue and it’s been the right decision regardless of anything else that has happened
