My long expected first match was the away game at Newcastle on 20th October 08. Was a month into Uni and inbetween social circles. Soon as the tickets were available i had to buy one. Unfortunately, i bought tickets to sit in the home end with my friedns as it was cheaper. £17 to be truthful. Boy was that a mistake, as when Rob Styles awards a penalty i celebrated. Yep, surrounded by thousands of Newcastle fans, i actually screamed ‘yesssss’. Thankgod it was 2-2, otherwise i may not be writing this testimonial today But know that i was always looking left at the singing city fans, and know that next year, i will definately be joining my fellow citizens.
