FA Cup 3rd Round
A cold January afternoon and a home game against Hartlepool United. Sat in the Platt Lane Stand with my brother and dad. Wearing my dads red & black city scarf and feeling really excited at going to my first game. City won 6 – 0; a hat trick from Denis Tueart, who also got sent off! A great day and a great atmosphere

This was also my first game! My dad took me when I was 10 years old. We left 5 mins before the end and I thought we had won 5 nil!; I never left a match early again that paid dividends in the Gillingham play off final!
