my first game was the August 2007 derby. i wasn’t expecting much but it was more about the atmosphere. i just wanted to experience a CITY game. what a game to pickthe most memorable moment of that game, was the split second of stunned silence, as GEOVANNI’s shot slipped through VAN DER SAR’s fingers, and then the eruption of noise as the net rippled and we were in the lead. I remember the nervousness as the clock ticked down the last few seconds, as we all know how stuffy united are, the sheer wall of noie as whistles were blown at the referee willing the game to end, and the overflowing happyness when the final whistle did blow. it was a brilliant game to witness and i’m sure any city fan who was there will tell you. it was an unforgetable day!!!
