It was 1980 and we were on a family trip back home to Manchester after my parants moved to Melbourne in the 60’s.I was only ten at the time and Joe Corrigan was in goals.I dont know who we were playing but i was there with my uncles who are all iether dinky die city supporters or disowned. In truth all i rember adout the game was the atmosphere and the singing that i will never forget.I have been to a lot off sporting events but never come close to the feeling of that day. All going well one day i will get back with my girls and let them expience the magic that i felt THAT IS CITY.
