My first game was in the early 80’s against Southampton, future City manager Kevin Keegan was playing for them.My dad took me on the 53 bus from longsight, we’d get a pie and a programme.I only needed a bovril once to know I’d never want one again! I think we won, but I never saw the goals for adults standing up when the action was goal mouth.I’ve been a blue ever since. My hero at the time was big Joe Corrigan.
