My First game
I remember certain things from my first visit to Maine Road. We lived in Halifax and my Grandad who lived around the corner from Maine Road came to pick me and my dad up as we did not have a car at the time. I was sat on the old red benches in the Platt lane stand. Big Joe was in goals and we beat Birmingham City 4-2. I cannot remember the year but I think it was around 1983. Maybe someone can help me out with the year !!
