Well my 1st game was in 1982 at home v Swansea aged just 9. I remember being sat on the white wall at the foot of the kippax. The atmosphere was like nothing I had ever heard before, electric and almost deafening. And I felt so grown up. Looking back I dont remember much of the match although we won 2-1 and dennis tueart scored a unique in-direct free kick, I just knew that I was there to stay, it felt like home and despite many relegations and promotions since then, there’s no greater feeling than when a city player hits the back of the net. Purely magic
