This wasnt my first city game i watched but it was one of the most memorable, for one reason to fight from relelgation. It was against Newcastle and we had to win. All i remember from that game was how good our fans were. We won 1-0 and it was a tense game. The goal was made from a great cross by Nicolas Anelka, and Paulo Wanchope found the cross and headed in the back of the net. The croud were so good this game, fully behind the team. I remember the whistles the fans were making from around the ground towards the end of the game, deafening, it was so tense and when the full time whistle came, the feeling felt so great. On the way down the spiral walkway all me and my dad could here was ‘blue moon’ and ‘The best team in the land. The fan support was so good this day,as always. Through this win we put wolves down, and the blues stayed up.
